Location: Waco, TX Client: American Bank Category: Financial Scope: New Construction Services: Architecture / Interior Design / Furniture

This 5,100+ square foot branch is the 4th location for American Bank in Central Texas. The scope of work included all architecture, interior design, furniture, equipment coordination, and artwork selections. Although experientially opposite in many ways; much of the geometry, materiality, and textures were inspired by the locally iconic “Round Bank” which was recently demolished due to failing structure/infrastructure and necessary upgrades, that were ultimately cost prohibitive. With a much smaller footprint, this branch was able to focus on re-imagining the banking experience with expansive glass, hospitality areas, and general transparency throughout the public spaces. Key aspects of the building’s organization wasi informed by key sight lines and the bank’s desire for multiple diverse spaces for customer interaction.
