The Waco Chamber of Commerce embodies the new-urbanism look in a traditional 20th century downtown. The classic corner entry is marked by soaring stone columns topped with a copper colored dome. Exterior detailing includes historically appropriate brick, glazing, cast stone and cornice accents. The main lobby features a spiraling wood stair with iron railing, high ceilings, terrazzo flooring and wood trims. Beyond function and beauty, the commerce headquarters is distinguished as the first “green” Chamber building in the nation, certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Sustainable features include a living roof, natural daylighting, certified woods, photovoltaics, water harvesting, recycled content, xeriscape and more.
