The city of Robinson established their Volunteer Fire Department in 1955. Since then, with the growth of the community, the volunteer fire department has expanded and outgrown their proud Fire Station No. 1. The new, two-story 12,000 square foot Fire Station No. 1 has provided the department with much needed space along with room to grow. The new facility has four apparatus bays, gear storage, kitchen, day room, administrative offices, and a 1,000 square foot training room. Upstairs, sleeping quarters have been provided to take this growing volunteer department to full-time staffed, paid department in the future.
